Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
Nethric is the registered business name of Matthew Donnelly, a sole trader based in Victoria, Australia (ABN 88 971 756 141). This policy explains what personal information we collect through nethric.ai and by email, and what we do with it.
What we collect
We collect very little.
- Messages you send us. If you email team@nethric.ai, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you put in the message (for example your project details, budget or timing).
- Project information. If we work together, we keep the records needed to run the project and get paid: contact details, the agreed scope, invoices and correspondence.
- Website visit data. Our host, Cloudflare, processes the technical details of each request (IP address, browser type, page requested and time) to serve and protect the site. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits (see Analytics and cookies below).
This is a static website hosted on Cloudflare. Contact is by email. The site does not collect payment card details or provide customer accounts.
Why we collect it
- To reply to you and discuss a possible project.
- To deliver and invoice work we have agreed to do, and to meet tax and record-keeping obligations.
- To keep the site running and secure, for example by blocking abusive traffic.
- To understand overall site use (which pages are visited, and roughly from where) so we can improve the site.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Analytics and cookies
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not set cookies, does not use your browser’s local storage, and does not build a profile of you or follow you across other sites. It records aggregate information such as the pages viewed, the referring site, browser and device type, and country.
The site sets no tracking or advertising cookies, so there is no cookie banner.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers we need to run the business, and only for that purpose:
- Cloudflare hosts and protects the website, provides Web Analytics, and receives email sent to nethric.ai addresses. Cloudflare Email Routing forwards those messages to our private inbox. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
- Our email provider stores the messages forwarded to that inbox.
Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Enquiry emails that don’t lead to a project: only as long as we need them to reply and follow up, then deleted.
- Project and invoice records: at least 5 years, as Australian tax law requires.
- Cloudflare request and analytics data: kept by Cloudflare under its own retention settings.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (unless we must keep it, for example tax records). Email team@nethric.ai and we will respond within 30 days.
We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, contact us and we will honour any rights that your local data protection laws give you.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. We keep email and project records in access-controlled accounts.
Changes
If what we collect changes (for example, if we start selling products through the site), we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
