A custom admin dashboard for your business.

You open several tabs and a spreadsheet just to work out what needs attention. I build custom dashboards around the decisions you make, starting with the records and daily work behind those screens.

Tell me what's eating your time

See the work you need to act on.

An operations dashboard for a small business can begin with a simple question: what needs doing next? That might mean jobs waiting for a check, bookings that still need a response or records with missing details. The useful screen is the one that helps you make that decision without rebuilding a list by hand.

This can suit tradies following work through stages, clinics and studios organising admin, and venues or clubs coordinating bookings and daily tasks. I’m Matthew, based in Melbourne and working across Australia. I map the process with you before deciding what belongs in the dashboard.

Design around records, actions and exceptions.

A possible dashboard could show a list of jobs by stage, let you open the details and highlight records waiting for your review. A bookings view could separate confirmed arrangements from requests that need an answer. These are examples to scope, not a ready-made product or a claim about a particular tool.

A screen also needs clear boundaries. Which system holds the original record? Is the dashboard showing information or changing it? Who should be able to see each view? What should it show when information cannot be refreshed? Those questions shape the build as much as the layout does.

I check which connections your current tools support before including them in the plan. I can look at Xero, MYOB, Google Workspace, Shopify and booking or job apps. I check what your tools support before agreeing the scope.

A written plan before the build.

The paid scoping session is where I map the daily work with you and turn it into a written plan and fixed quote. Bring the spreadsheet or list you rely on, a routine task and an example that gets stuck. That gives the plan something concrete to describe and the finished tool something concrete to be checked against.

The matching offer below explains the scoping session and build payments. You can also review all service offers and Payments and refunds. For an example of my own tools, see Kingdom and Deck; the screenshots use demo data.

A clear scope. A fixed price.

Start with a scoping session

A$390 credited to your build

For custom dashboards and multi-step systems. In a paid session I map how your business runs with you, then give you a written plan and a fixed quote.

Builds from A$2,500, fixed quote after a paid A$390 discovery, credited to the build. The build is paid in fixed milestones. If you don't go ahead, you keep the plan and can take it elsewhere.

From the annoying job to a working tool.

  1. 1. Tell me

Show me what you do now. A free call helps me understand the job and whether a single automation, the Ops Pack or a scoping session fits.

  2. 2. I build

I agree the scope and price with you, then build it. You check it with real examples before it goes live.

  3. 3. It goes live

I hand over the working tool and a guide, with a follow-up check-in at an agreed time.

Straight answers.

Is this a reporting dashboard or a working admin tool?

That depends on the job. A reporting view shows information; an admin tool may also let you review or change records. The plan sets out which actions are included.

Can I keep using my existing spreadsheet?

Show me what it holds and who updates it. I check whether it should remain a source, be used for an agreed handover or be replaced as part of the scoped work.

What do I keep if I stop after scoping?

You keep the written plan and can take it elsewhere. The card above explains how the scoping payment is credited if you go ahead with the build.

What would you stop retyping?

Tell me about the job that keeps taking you away from your business.
